CHAIR OUT THERE
This afternoon I was lucky to have spent some valuable time meeting and talking to woodworkers at 574 Boston Ave, Medford, about wood finishing. (Wood finishing being on my mind since the table burning should be done in a few weeks.) Stroker [of Strokington & Co. ] and Paula Garbarino were a big help...I got to see some amazing work while I was there, learned about some products and techniques, and borrowed a couple of books. I'm so greatful Jim provided me with this valuable connection, and brought me there too.

Ceece your chair looks so good outside. Like the leaves grew up around it and indelible-ed themselves onto the legs. Like Where The Wild Things Are! you're awesome.

ak you made my day with your comment. sometimes I feel I'm just burning into the wind...but with your comment,I feel I'm on the right track. Or at least I know an artist I admire is supportive of my work.

you like comments like that better than when I pretend to be Captain Haddock?

I'd have to go dig up a dog-eared Tintin comic to better respond to your comment, which evokes barnacle-encrusted whiskey bottles and well-soused canines..
see you soon!
